The
traineeship is open to pharmacists from all practice settings.
There will be two traineeship sessions in 2010: June 7-11 and October 18-22. Submission of an application indicates an ability to attend either session. An applicant's preference will be taken into consideration, but cannot be guaranteed. Six pharmacists will be selected for
participation in each session.
The
traineeship is five days in length, Monday through Friday,
with
some evening sessions. There is a mandatory orientation meeting
on Sunday evening. The traineeship will be conducted at
the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio, and Heartland of Mentor
in Mentor, Ohio.
The Pain Management Traineeship is supported by an educational grant from Mallinckodt Inc./Covidien.

and issues during the traineeship, and interaction
with patients and the interdisciplinary team at the
traineeship sites.

other diseases and conditions will be encountered.
- After
the traineeship, participants are expected to become involved

for treatment or interventions to improve care of patients
with acute or chronic pain.
Please
submit only the materials requested; do not add binders, dividers,
brochures, or booklets.
The application form and required exhibits must be received
